The much anticipated release of Race 2 has now been pushed back it has been revealed. The Abbas-Mustan thriller has reportedly been inundated with various changes and issues, which has meant that the film will not be releasing in May 2012 as originally set.
The film’s finalised cast was John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha including Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor reprising their roles. However after the production dates were changed in order to accommodate Deepika’s dates it has been revealed that Dabaang star Sonakshi may now not be able to feature in the production. This is reportedly due to the scheduling conflict she will have with shooting for the sequel to Salman Khan blockbuster Dabaang. But producer Ramesh Taurani has stated that the team are trying to sort out the scheduling conflicts.
Shooting for the eagerly awaited thriller is set to start shooting early next year.
Race 2 is now set to release November 2012.
