Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Trapped’ featuring Rajkummar Rao is all set to hit the screens on March 17. In an exclusive interview with Times of India, Rajkummar and Vikramaditya shared their experiences shooting for the film.
Here’s what Rajkummar had to say about the film- “I was the only actor, most of the time in the film, apart from rats,
cockroaches, ants, city and buildings and sky scrapers. For me, this was something very unique concept-wise.” Vikramaditya added, “It’s very liberating working in limitations. I was excited about getting into this film and having fun with it. I think that’s exactly what we did.”
When asked if they suffered from any phobias, Rajkummar said he has some vertigo issues. Vikram on the other hand said, “I have a fear of heights and rats and I think both have been somewhat explored in the film.”
Vikramaditya went on to share his thrill about donning the producer’s hat. Here’s what he said- “I enjoy being a producer. There’s a different level of creative satisfaction being a producer because you end up backing up the script and the director.”
Not many are aware that Rajkumar is a vegetarian. The vegan actor admitted that he had to eat meat in order to make the scene work. Well, that sure is some effort from the actor’s side, isn’t it?
