Every song that London boy, Ash King, has touched so far seems to strike gold. His latest song, I Love You from the film hugely anticipated film Bodyguard, seems very likely to be a huge success also. Ash has also done an unplugged version of the song and video to go along with it. The music for the soundtrack is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and lyrics written by Neelesh Misra and Shabbir Ahmed.
Unplugged versions tend not to get as much promotion as original versions which have a full backing track. However, this unplugged version is well worth taking time out to listen to. With just two acoustic guitars playing in the background, his voice sounds even more melodious than before and strikingly beautiful. With no backing track, his voice is put into full focus and sounds absolutely amazing. The song demonstrates his capabilities as a singer and growing confidence in his voice.
The unplugged version is definitely worth a listen and brings a whole new dimension to the original. Ash is really making big noise over in Bollywood and also performed at this year’s BBC London
Mela. It seems the only way is up for Ash and we look forward to hearing more music from the man with the midas touch!
