The ten track album features an envious line up of producers and collaborations to present a solid Bhangra album. There’s Urban Desi flavours through the tracks ‘Taubah Taubah’ featuring Gop Virk and ‘Akh Mastani’ with Hunterz. And a more traditional sound can be heard on ‘Muqabala’ with Miss Pooja and on the duet with the legendary Kuldeep Manak for ‘Put Sardara De’.
Renowned Bhangra producers Bally Jagpal, Bhota Jagpal, Aman Hayer and B.S Productions have all lent their talents to the music on the album, each putting their own signature sounds behind ADH’s Panjabi vocals.
Having started off his singing career with Gabhru Panjab De dance group in the late 90’s and now on his fourth album, ADH uses this album to showcase his musical growth and development. The tracks ‘Tu Ni Jaandi’ and ‘Tere Bina Kada Jeena’ on the album have been produced by the singer and the later was also written by him.
Speaking about ‘Taubah Taubah’ ADH says: “The album has taken a while to put together, but I wanted to make sure the music was fresh and that it surpassed my previous albums. With the line up I have on it, I personally think it has. It ‘s a very personal album for me; it has allowed me to fulfil some lifelong dreams such as production, songwriting and of course working with Kuldeep Manak Ji.”
The album is accompanied by five music videos; with the most recent one to be released featuring a rare appearance by Kuldeep Manak for the track ‘Put Sardara De’.
‘Taubah Taubah’ by ADH is available now in all good music stores, iTunes and via www.movieboxonline.co.uk
