Paramount Pictures have pleasure in announcing that the World Premiere of The Dictator will take place on Thursday 10 May at The Royal Festival Hall in London and will be beamed to 20 cinema sites across the UK and Ireland, giving fans the chance to be amongst the first in the world to see the highly anticipated comedy.
Beware (Mundian To Bach Ke) by Panjabi MC featuring Jay-Z is the official movie theme song currently exceeding over 8 million views on Youtube. A special version of the trailer showcasing the bhangra song was also made for a Super Bowl XLVI commercial seen and heard by a record 111.3 million viewers in the most-watched television show in U.S. history.
The World Premiere red carpet arrivals will be screened live into the participating cinemas so the audience can enjoy the celebrity arrivals, red carpet interviews, and of course a very special appearance from Admiral General Aladeen himself.
The Dictator tells the heroic story of a North African dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.
The Dictator is released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday 16 May, 2012.
