The only 5-a-side charity football tournament that brings together many of the UK’s Asian media, VIPs and celebrities is back after a celebratory event in 2009.
Voodoo Entertainment and Media Moguls present the 2nd Football All-Star tournament (FAST) on June 6th 2010 in aid of The Anthony Nolan Trust. Due to popular demand, the organisers are introducing a mini rounder’s tournament in addition to the usual 5-a-side football so everyone can get involved.
The event will once again be held at the glorious Broadfield’s Country Club, located in the heart of Harrow.
Last year, over £2000 was raised in aid of Great Ormond Street hospital and an estimated £100,000 of media coverage was generated which helped raise the profile of the charity and increased the recognition of its achievements.
Louise Wright from The Anthony Nolan Trust said, “We consistently need people to sign up and join the register especially young males and black and minority ethnic groups, the 5-a-side football event on 6 June 2010 will help to provide awareness and a greater understanding of the work the charity carries out, its impact on patients lives and just how important and simple it is to join the donor Register.”
Nav, Managing Director of the Broadfield’s Country Club said “Last year Voodoo Entertainment and Media Moguls created a fantastic fun filled day at Broadfield’s Country Club. We are delighted that FAST will be returning here in 2010 and are anticipating another brilliant day for all the teams and spectators taking part to raise money for a great cause.”
