In front of an audience of thousands at the Diversity Festival, Honey Kalaria launched her Foundations first project Unite Us. The Honey Kalaria Foundation aims to improve the lives and futures of otherwise disadvantaged women and children throughout the world, through Education, Creativity, Business support and improved spiritual health and wellbeing. At this weekend’s event Honey launched her fundraising initiative to establish an International Spiritual Meditation Centre within the UK, a place where people from all faiths and cultures can meditate together and learn from one
another, thereby promoting unity, peace and intercultural harmony.
We believe that united by a common goal, ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference, a difference which will have a lasting effect for future generations. It is important that we all become humanitarian ambassadors for the next generation said Honey Kalaria, Bollywood Ambassador to the UK.
A charity single called Unite Us featuring powerful mantras and prayers from different faiths can be downloaded online from any part of the world for just £1 to help raise £1 million, before the single’s official launch to coincide with the World Peace Festival being held in Berlin during the end of August. The funds will be used to start funding various worthwhile causes.
The project has the dual aim of sending a strong message of peace and harmony through unity across the globe, and helping to fund the Foundations long term ambition to provide and help to sustain the International Spiritual Meditation Centre. Access to the centre, which will be located in the UK, will be free of charge, and it will be open to all who wish to learn how to lead more balanced, satisfying and peaceful lives. Most importantly it will be a place where people of all different faiths and cultural backgrounds can gather together under the common umbrella of ‘Humanity’ and
embrace their oneness.
Our project gives equal importance to the development of an individual at all levels – mind, body and soul’ said David Wing, heading the fundraising campaign. Alex Noble once said Success is not a place at which one arrives but rather the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey.
You can also take part in our journey and play your part in making a difference; join us as a volunteer, become a humanitarian ambassador for the foundation and its projects or share your ideas. All are welcome – from school children, graduates and the unemployed to housewives, professionals and those enjoying their retirement. To find out more, please visit www.uniteusproject.com
