Asin made her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan, followed by two flicks opposite Salman Khan; and now rumour has it she has bagged the lead role opposite Shahrukh Khan in the movie adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s semi-autobiographical book 2 States.
News has it that producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bhardwaj are very keen on roping in Asin to play the role of a south Indian girl who falls in love with a Punjabi guy to be played by Shahrukh Khan.
Rumour has it that both the producer and the director have already had a word with Asin and they feel that she is the only actress who fits their bill. The actress is currently working in Nadiadwala’s production Housefull 2.
