Mentor Beats is an established figure within the UK’s Asian Recording Industry with a reputation for delivering high quality music in a variety of different roles that include producer, composer, engineer and re-mixer. This world class producer has enjoyed chart and club-hit success with the likes of Jay Sean, Craig David, Sugababes and Juggy D whilst also releasing his own Mixtape collections.
Since 2006, Mentor Beats has made headway into the UK Radio Industry, presenting and producing shows on BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Asian Network whilst also developing his reputation as a composer of music for TV and advertising with scores for McDonalds and Sharwoods, plus title music for TV programs including Nickelodeon’s Control Freaks. 2009 saw Mentor Beats involved in many projects including singles like Kurri Canada Di with DJ Dips, Money and Freedom with DJ Pinkz, plus the expansion of Music Training Courses and Workshops around the UK.
In 2010, remixes for Menis and DJ Dips made a significant dent on the music scene and with his remix for the Sugababes hit single About A Girl being performed at the UK Asian Music Awards, Mentor Beats has found himself in serious demand all over again.
Having established himself as one of the UK’s leading exponents of Asian Music, Mentor Beats has now been working on his new album set to release next year on the Organised Rhyme label and is now available for bookings at events and festivals alongside the world’s hottest new events team i-PLAY.
August 18th 2011 brings the release of Mentor‘s first single on the Organised Rhyme label. Daroo Do Naina Di featuring seasoned vocalist Jaswinder Daghamia and is Mentor’s first solo collaboration with a Punjab based artist. The song lyrics have been penned by none other than Satti Khokhewalia, whose credits include Oh Naa Kurri Labdi (Sukshinder Shinda), Glassy (Jazzy B) and Dil Nahin Lagda (Feroz Khan). Look out for the accompanying video by Flying Solo Productions, shot on location in the Netherlands, that can only be described as unique and will be on heavy rotation from 18th August. The fresh upbeat tune will again bring Mentor Beats to the attention of the Asian industry and provide his followers with the quality of music they demand.
Daroo Do Naina Di breaks the Mentor Beats musical mould and showcases production versatility sure to rock clubs and parties internationally. The single is lifted from the forthcoming compilation i-PLAY Volume 1, which will showcase the production and vocal talents of Organised Rhyme’s team of producers/DJ’s and affiliate singers.
