The Bilz & Kashif’s new video, Single celebrates being single and fabulous. The three, very suave band mates, DJ Vicious, Master D (The Bilz) and Kashif say that the song was written out of personal experience:
“We’ve all been through break-ups or in relationships where we just want to call it quits. There’s nothing like enjoying the single life while it lasts and having that summer love to live for the moment.”
Single is a unique sound, not just for The Bilz & Kashif’s trademark language mash-up of English, Hindi and Punjabi, but for it’s body swaying, sweet melody that is a nostalgic homage to romance and music pre auto-tune. The group has found a way to use electro-pop to accentuate and elevate their track rather than rely on it to mask as talent.
